The best designs are clean and simple — though it’s harder to make it look that way than you think.  That’s where Simple Creative can help.  Founded by Vancouver designer Joanna Motylewska, Simple Creative provides affordable and effective design solutions for aspiring as well as established small business owners.

Joanna knows the works, from digital photography  (Diploma in Professional Photography Langara College),  to graphic and website design  (Web and Graphic Design Diplomas & Media Techniques for Business Certificate Corporate Communications College & BCIT).

She also brings an international flare to her work — born in Poland, she lived in Nigeria and the UK before coming to Canada.  Now living in False Creek on a lovely waterfront with a beautiful view of the Vancouver cityscape, Joanna has a young son, one of her best creations yet.

Joanna built her first website in 1996, but it was the arrival of her son that inspired her to create an online community for Vancouver mamas in 2000.  Friends and colleagues took notice, and sought her help with their own design needs. Thus Simple Creative was born.  Now Joanna pours her 25 years of design experience into helping others achieve their business goals. 

Joanna’s creativity extends into her leisure time as well — she may often be seen with a camera around her neck, capturing life around her. “If you’re strolling the sea wall around False Creek, I’ll be the one cawing with the crows,” she says.  Surrounded by Corvids, she also shares her False Creek home with an amazing creative kid, a handicapped cat, and visits with an African Pied Crow named Lucy.
