All websites designed by SimpleCreative are created with webware: software technology that is remotely accessed online with a web browser. Our technology offers many built-in features including eCommerce, and allows the client to maintain their own website without any web design experience.
PORTFOLIO
Websites are a creation of both the designer and the client. The design is often a compromise of what the client wants and what the designer thinks looks good. Since clients are able to make changes and updates to their own websites, the following portfolio may not necessarily reflect what the designer's work. However, the clients love their own websites and that's most important.
The client is quite involved in the website creation process and needs to prepare the written content as well as provide any pertinent photographs or images. The client supplies the raw material and SimpleCreative assembles it into aesthetic, graphically pleasing, easy-to-read web pages.

The client must provide the copy for the website. Simple Creative does not provide writing or copy editing services.
Please set up a separate text file for each web page and save the file as the page's title.
Text writen using Notepad and saved as a .txt file is preferred. The text must not wrap. You need to only provide the simplest formatting using paragraphs and capital letters. The designer then formats the text as it should look on the web page.
Please do not send drafts of your text. Send only your final version. Minor changes and corrections are expected once the web page is prepared, however extra charges will apply to format and insert brand new text.
Web pages which contain more than 1,200 words may be subject to additonal charges, especially if they require a good deal of formatting.
IMAGES
The quality appearance of your website has a lot to do with the photos or graphics you choose. Snapshots and clipart tend to make the website look amateur. Professional and stock photography is recommended.
If you need preparation of specialized graphic elements (eg. maps), extra fees apply.
Aproximately 2000 stock photographs are available for your use with the webware used. If you need additional stock images istockphoto.com or fotolia.com is a great place to find them. Hourly fees apply if you would like Simple Creative to search for images for you.
Basic web design pricing includes approximately 3 photos/graphics per page.
Please mail your images in such a way that the email program does not shrink them.
HOSTING
Your web site and hosting are part of one package. The site is created with webware: software technology that is remotely accessed online with a web browser and is integrated with the hosting. You cannot host your website elswhere.
The hosting fee of $20 per month billed annually at $240, needs to be paid separately directly online with your credit card at the start of the project.
If you do not have a domain name please purchase one at directnic.com (for .com .net .org) or netfirms.ca (for .ca). You may choose to have us register and manage your domain for you at a cost of $50 per year.
If you already have a domain you need to set it to point to ns1.domaincityservers.com and ns2.domaincityservers.com
FEES
A 50% deposit is required to begin the project and the balance is due upon completion.
A completion date is set and the client is required to provide all the content necessary at least one week prior to the completion date.
If client has not provided all the necessary content in time, final payment is still due on the completion date, even if the website is not complete. We will immediately add any content the client sends to finalize the project.
